Master Five Cinematografica Srl is an independent production company founded in Rome in 2007 by Davide Tovi. Specializing in feature films, documentaries, and commercials, the company stands out for its high artistic quality, efficient resource management, and a strong commitment to auteur cinema. Our goal is to develop authentic and engaging stories, with particular attention to technical and narrative craftsmanship. Over the years, Master Five has established a solid reputation in the audiovisual sector, producing works selected at major national and international festivals.

Among the most significant projects:
Diario di Spezie (2021) – A noir thriller adapted from the novel of the same name, winner of the Solinas Prize. Adesso vinco io (2023) – A documentary about the career of Marcello Lippi, selected at the Torino Film Festival. Esseri Invisibili (2023) – A short film awarded Best Director at the Stockholm City Film Festival 2023. La Camera di Consiglio (2024) – A historical drama about the Palermo Maxi Trial against Cosa Nostra, currently in post-production.

The company is also active in the executive production of commercials, including “Tim – The Power of Connections” (2022) and “Tim – Equality Cannot Wait” (2023), both directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and winners of the Press Outdoors and Promotion Key awards.

Davide Tovi

Born in Rome in 1977, he has been passionate about cinema from an early age. He began his career very young, immediately working as a Line Producer and General Organizer. He regularly collaborates with prominent productions in the Italian scene, including Rodeo Drive and Archimede Film (for cinema) and Think Cattleya (for television commercials). He was associate producer for the film Tales of Tales and throughout his career has worked with renowned directors such as Matteo Garrone, Giuseppe Tornatore, Renato De Maria, Bobby Moresco, Brian Goodman, Ciro Guerra, Sergio Castellitto, and Umberto Carteni Riccioni. He currently works as an executive producer for various Italian production companies.
